These Terms govern your use of Insight Engine. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

What the service does

Insight Engine takes an idea and a founder profile and produces a structured market-analysis report using public web data and third-party AI research systems. The output is informational, not legal, financial, or investment advice.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abuse, scraping, or rate-limit evasion.

Credits and payments

• Each analysis consumes the number of credits shown at submission time.
• Credits are purchased in packs through Stripe.
• Unused credits do not expire.
• Unused credit packs may be eligible for manual refund review within 14 days of purchase through the support form on this site.
• If an analysis fails because of a technical error on our side, the spent credits are refunded automatically.
• Promotional codes may have additional limits or conditions.

What we do not guarantee

• Accuracy. AI-generated reports can miss competitors, cite outdated sources, or misunderstand niche markets.
• Outcomes. Build, pivot, or pass decisions remain your responsibility.
• Availability. The service is provided on a best-effort basis without guaranteed uptime.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for illegal activity or content that violates applicable law.
• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, credits, or rate limits.
• Do not scrape, mirror, or resell reports without permission.
• Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Your content

You retain rights to the ideas and profile data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content so we can run the service, store results in your account, and send necessary data to our vendors.

Service warnings

Idea text you submit is sent to third-party providers so the system can research the open web and compose a report. Do not submit trade secrets or any material you would not want processed by an external vendor.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Deleting an account removes it from the live app database, while operational logs may remain temporarily for support, security, or fraud-prevention work.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates may be shown in-product or sent by email when that channel is configured.
